This picture was taken the other day before school started. When I asked my kids what they wanted to do on their last day of summer vacation their answer was, ride horses. We haven't done as much of this as we would have liked this summer. I thought it was a great idea. We saddled up and had a really great time. At the end of our riding session I happened to pick up my camera at the right moment and captured this. My oldest was giving her thanks to our horse Sonny for the great ride. It made my top ten favorite photos of all time. I don't know if it's the kind look in his eyes, the way the light works, or her emotion that made me like this so well. Whatever it is I love this shot. Just goes to show if I hadn't had my camera out and ready I would have missed it. Let that be a lesson to me..... Always be prepared! Thanks for stoppin' by. Here are a few more shots from that day.....
Love all of these Jen, but that first one is my favorite too :) And I love your new header!! When did you do that?
