Now, Meet the Snider family. It was a great day for an extended family session. Beautiful weather and gorgeous fall colors. What more could we ask for? The family is just gorgeous and I think we had a great time. Our goal was achieved to capture some wonderful memories for this sweet family. I hope you all enjoy them Snider Clan :)

Oh and this little sweetie I was told pulls this face all the time, so of course it made it into the bunch.

Sneak peek for the Benson Family

Well hello all my blogger buddies. I apologize for not being more active on posting to my blog. As you all know this is my busiest season of the year and I am trying to stay caught up. I am thankful for being busy. If you are wanting to have your family portrait session this fall, keep in mind I only have a few dates left to book for the entire year. The Wayment Family

The Wayment family are some of our very good friends, so when they asked me to do their family portraits I was thrilled to say the least. They are all just gorgeous! And what can beat working with your good friends? I had such a hard time choosing what images to post, that I posted all my favorites. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I don't know how they will choose their wall portrait. I'm glad it's not me. :)

Now, I saved my very favorites for last. I LOVE this couple. They should be so proud of their family that they have created. And if they were my parents, I would be so honored to call them Mom & Dad. If I could share a love like they have for my entire married life I would be forever happy. They are the absolute cutest couple I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. I honestly think if the world had more couples like them we would live in a much better place. Their love just flows out to all those around them. I am thankful to call them my friends. They have set an amazing example for all the couples out there. I hope they see what I see when I look at these images. And that is a beautiful couple still so deeply in love after all this time. Fall Mini Sessions

Hello all my lovely clients, family and friends. Fall is here, and you all know what that means! Beautiful colors and family portrait time! I just wanted to post a quick note to let you all know I am hosting my Fall Mini Sessions. It's the only time this year I will be doing them. My session times are filling up quickly, so for an apt please call or email me to secure your spot. They will be held on Sat. October 26th Starting at 1:00pm. The session price is $155 and it includes a 30 minute session with up to 6 people (each additional person is $10) and it comes with 10 digital files on a disc. You will have the option of purchasing more products, prints or Xmas cards after your session also. I hope to have a great turnout this year. Choosing the best newborn photographer for you

I know how difficult it can be to find the right photographer for you and your family. So, how do you choose the right Newborn Photographer?
Do you just google some in your area and look for the cheapest price? Do you just pick the one the pictures on the website looks the best? Or do you take the time and ask different photographers questions? Questions about how they will handle your precious new little baby, how much experience they have with newborns, how they handle a difficult baby being fussy, how long they have been in business, have they had any trainings with newborns.......???
You should think about all this when trying to find the best photographer for your newborn pictures. I am trained in infant CPR and I get my regular vacinations to make sure I am as safe as possible with your new little baby. I do not want to take the chance of ever injuring or getting a baby sick, it is defintelty not worth the risk. Babies are not props for us photographers to play with, they are precious little lives that you trust us as professionals to keep safe. There are tons of photographers out there offering newborn portraits but are they really that good with handling babies? I often get emails of new parents trying to book a last minute newborn session with me. They already had newborn pictures done and they didn't came out how they were hoping. I also had some parents telling me the other photographer did some very unprofessional stuff with the baby. Sadly, in most cases, it is already too late by then to get you in my schedule. I am not saying that I will be the photographer to go with but please make sure you choose a photographer who will handle your newborn as safely as you would. The cheapest priced photographer is not always the best to go with. This special time in your babies life has only a small window of time for us to capture their sweet newness. So many little details disappear all to soon. As a professionally trained newborn photographer I am honored every time I book a newborn session. Thank you for trusting me with this new special life. I am so happy to do what I love every single day, and I owe it all to you.

June Newborn Special

   Well we've made it to summer! I was so happy thinking it has finally arrived that I wanted to share the greatness with all of my lovely clients! I am so lucky to do what I love every day. So for the month of June I will be offering a discount on NEWBORN sessions. Just call or email me for more info. Remember It's never to early to book your newborn session, but it can be to late. Don't wait. I would hate to miss this special time in your new little bundles life. I take newborns only when they are 5-12 days old. Thanks so much and enjoy the summer.

      Hello everyone! I have so many families, weddings, babies and events to post. I promise to share them all soon.  I just wanted to take a minute and fill you in on a few details and say Thank you! Thank you to all of you who read my little blog and look at my work. Thank you for being so patient with me at this difficult time. And Thank you for believing in me and my work. It is what keeps me going everyday. I really believe when we do what we love is shows through our work.

    I have been going through some family medical issues. While they are serious, they do not involve me directly, but my family. I have been needed elsewhere and have put my photography on hold this last week. I am back now and editing away. It has pushed back my normal editing time just a little, but I'm on it. All of those who are patiently waiting for the "Rose Tea" images, they will be up shortly. Check back later this weekend or the first of next week to get the link.

   I'll leave you with a recent image I took at the Timber-mine Rose Tea last weekend. This is my lovely daughter who so patiently posed for me after the event. You know me, I can't resist a beautiful subject in a beautiful setting! Although I may be biased, because I'm her Momma, I LOVE everything about this image.
