Off camera flash workshop with Dustin Izatt

Well lookey here, 2 blog posts in 2 days! I'm on a roll. I had an amazing opportunity to attend an off camera flash workshop with the talented Dustin Izatt Photography. He is the most kind and generous man with his knowledge I have ever met. I encourage all of you photographers who are looking to better your off camera lighting skills to give this class a try. It is definitely worth every penny. It was packed with 4 hours of on hand learning. My gorgeous daughter Alissa was able to model for us. I am one proud Mama. The New addition...

Well hello! I am alive and well. It has just been an extremely busy and productive summer! I have so many sessions to share with all of you, so please be patient while I catch up. I'm sure you all know how it goes while being a busy self employed Momma to 3 kids who are home for the summer. Enough said ;)

Here is the first of many blog posts I will be sharing with you over the next few days. Meet the handsome Mr. "H". He belongs to a lovely little family of some friends of mine. His beautiful Momma is also a talented photog, so I always get a little scared when shooting for friends who are photogs as well. I hope they enjoy all of their images....

I had the most amazing time. I learned so much from my other photographer friends on this shoot. I am so lucky to have so many supportive, kind, friends in this business. It has been invaluable to me. I'll see you all soon :)

Model Casting Call- Newborn Baby Girl!

  Hello everyone and a happy Sat. to all! I am having a Model casting call!!!! I am in need of a newborn baby girl to do some modeling for me. Needs to be between 4-10 days old at the time of session. I will give a COMPLIMENTARY session ($199.00 value) to the first available baby girl. I will also give you 10 edited images on a disc with printing rights(also complimentary) for allowing me to use the images for marketing purposes. If you know of anyone I will also throw in a lil something for you for the referral.

The most beautiful Mommy & Me session ever...

   Wow! This would be day #3 in my keeping up the blog! I am very proud of myself to be accomplishing so much. I have so many more wonderful sessions to come.

   I had the opportunity to work with the most darling Mom and daughter. They also happen to be family! What better way to spend an evening than playing/working with these two. They were so much fun and did everything I asked of them. :) Love them for that! I'll let the images tell you the rest of the story. Thanks again Alicia & Adriana you were both fabulous! I hope you enjoy them.


    I'm going to start off with one of my very favorite images I have ever taken. To me it shows what it's like to have a daughter look up to her Mom. Something I think every Mother would cherish. I get tears just looking at it. LOVE!

                 And we can NOT forget Ms. Kissy!!!! Is she not the sweetest puppy you have ever seen?!?!?

Baby Wesley 7 days new..

     Wow what a whirlwind this last month has been!!! I am so sorry I haven't been blogging more often! I have so many amazing sessions to share with you I don't know where to start! How about I share some newborn goodness with you first, because they are my favorites after all! Meet little Mr. Wesley. He was 7 days new and such a cute lil man. I absolutely love his hair and his little chubby cheeks. I could have just eaten him up. He was a perfect angel for us. Here are just a few images from his session. Introducing Baby "A" 7 days new...

    What a sweeter way to celebrate Valentines day than with a little newborn goodness. I had the great pleasure of having a fantastic photo session with Miss "A" and her family. At 7 days old she was absolute perfection and the sweetest baby girl I have worked with yet. It's been a while since I've had a newborn girl in front of my lens and I must confess I was a little like a kid in a candy store. I shot way to many images and had the hardest time choosing which were my favorites. Here is just a small sample of the ones that made the cut. Hope you all enjoy and have a great weekend!
